Practical learning.
Purposeful futures.
We’re here to make career-focused technical and skills education accessible, useful and connected to the world of work.
OUR STORY
Rooted in Colombo.
Focused on your next step.
Founded in 2023, Newberry Institute is a technical and vocational skills education provider based in Maradana, Colombo.
We support learners who want to gain practical abilities, explore a new field or build on the experience they already have. Our learning approach connects clear instruction with hands-on practice, helping students develop skills they can use with confidence.
We offer certificate and diploma pathways across technical, trade and service-related subject areas. Depending on the course, practical tests and assessments may be delivered through partner channels. Our team can explain the current course options, requirements and assessment arrangements before you apply.

OUR LEARNING APPROACH
Know the skill.
Practise the skill.
Good vocational learning brings knowledge and practice together. At Newberry, course delivery is designed around the subject and may include instructor guidance, practical activities and assessment. Specific arrangements differ by course and intake.
Certificates and diplomas are offered for relevant programmes. Ask our team about the qualification awarded, course duration, entry criteria and any partner assessment arrangements for the course you are considering.
